Tips for Choosing the Perfect Golfing
Equipment
Need to buy your own golfing equipment?
It pays to be able to choose the right
ones not just for practical purposes but
also for the sake of your game. Golfing
equipment will make a lot of difference on
how well you can perform so make sure you
know what to look for. Here are some tips
to help you out:

Buying your golf club
You need a golf club to play the game.
Even better, you'll need the right clubs
to perform well. That means you'll have to
learn what type and style of golf clubs to
buy because your game (and future
reputation) will depend on it. Here are
some things to consider when buying golf
clubs:
Body size
Your body size will figure into the
whole mathematical configuration that goes
into a golf game. The wrong golfing
equipment will make any golfer, beginner
or pro, screw up a game with just one
swing.
Consider the height from your feet to
your waist and you'll see what size of
golf clubs you'll need to purchase. If
you're tall, the standard sized golf clubs
will be too short for you. You might have
to look for special sizes or get your club
custom built. Your golf club will affect
your swing and therein lies your secret
weapon for winning a golf game, so choose
your golfing equipment well.
Budget.
Your golf equipment doesn't have to be
the most expensive in order to be the
best. Do your research on which golf clubs
perform well and listen or read other
people's reviews. The most expensive
brands may be the most desirable but there
are other options you can get that won't
break the bank.

Are you driven?
Driving distance is like your signature
and the better and farther you hit the
ball, the better your chances at golf. So
what type of driver head should you
use?
Titanium caused a lot of stir and
excitement when it made its debut and with
good cause. Titanium is tough, long
lasting and resistant against corrosion
and impact but it's lighter than other
materials, allowing you to use drivers
with larger heads. That, my friends, means
increasing your chances of hitting the
sweet spot. The club's forgiveness is also
greater, allowing you to produce better
and more decent shots.
Steel is still a popular driver and
it's also less expensive than its titanium
cousin but you will sacrifice the size for
the weight. Steel is heavier so the head
size has to be smaller to make it easier
to carry and use. However, it's very
durable and if you like the assurance of a
solid, heavy whack, steel is a good choice
for you.
Another choice is the composite driver,
combining the properties of other
materials such as carbon with the
durability and weight of titanium. This
gives you a lightweight driver that is
tough and solid. This type of driver has
reduced weight but most of it is centered
along the face, giving you a better sweet
spot and more forgiveness. For distance
and solidity, titanium drivers are a good
choice.
Golf balls
Golf balls have evolved dramatically
over the years and there's always a new
kind being advertised as the shape and
type of things to come. When considering
buying this part of your golfing
equipment, decide whether you prefer
distance over spin or vice versa. If
you're a golfer with a strong swing, go
for golf balls that offer more in terms of
spin. But if you're still building up your
power, choose golf balls that offer more
distance.
However, there are also other factors
to consider. Take weather conditions, for
example. If you're playing in winter, the
air temperature and the slippery fairways
will make your tee shots a bit shorter.
The conditions also will allow your golf
balls to stop more easily. In this case,
you won't need soft golf balls. Softer
golf balls will do better in summer.
Golf bag
Probably the only complaint you will
have about golf is that you'll have to
carry a lot of stuff around. That's why
you'll need a good golf bag to make sure
all your golfing equipment are safe and
accessible. A golf bag will not improve
your golf game, but it will make it a lot
more enjoyable.
Choose a golf bag depending on your
needs and playing style. If you like
lugging your golfing equipment, choose a
lightweight but durable carry bag. If you
like bags that can stand on their own, a
two-legged stand bag will do nicely. You
can also choose a cart bag if you're the
type of player who likes to use a golf
cart. But if you're the type who likes to
carry all of your golfing equipment with
you - and we mean all - get a tour bag.
This is the largest and also the heaviest
but it will have more room for all your
golfing essentials and then some.

Taylor Made Golf Clubs - Taking Golf a Step Further
I've never been fond of using highly priced, expensive golf clubs just to have a friendly weekend game or two with friends. I thought those should be preserved for playing in tournaments and formal sporting events. The reason for this is because most of the clubs I owned in the past had never lasted long enough for me to fully enjoy them.
